25 Fletcher Rd, Frankston VIC 3199
FTS Staff will meet you at the bus stop, and direct you to the venue.
As with all school excursions, the duty of care for students—including supervision, behaviour management, and overall wellbeing during travel to and from Frankston Tech School, as well as throughout the program—remains with the accompanying staff from your school.
While our facilitators will guide and support students in their learning during the program, responsibility for active supervision, attendance, and student conduct rests with school staff. This ensures that students are safe, supported, and able to make the most of their experience at Frankston Tech School.
We ask that the number of supervising staff from your school meet the Department of Education and Training Supervision requirements for day excursions of 1 to 20 staff-student ratio, with a minimum of 2 staff.
These risk assessments are provided to help teachers familiarise themselves with Frankston Tech School programs, facilities, and learning activities. They are designed to support your school’s own risk assessment, excursion approval, and parent/carer consent processes.
Please note that multiple risk assessments may apply to different aspects of a program, so we encourage you to review all relevant documents.

FTS Staff will meet you at the bus stop, and direct you to the venue.
Frankston Tech School is located on Chisholm Institute's Frankston Campus - directly across the road from Frankston Train Station.
Frankston Tech School is a fully accessible venue, with step-free entry throughout our spaces to ensure ease of movement for all visitors. Our facilities also include a hearing assist system to support participants with hearing needs.
To help us provide the best possible experience for every student, teacher, and guest, we ask that you let us know in advance about any specific accessibility requirements. This allows our team to prepare and ensure your visit is safe, comfortable, and inclusive.
We encourage students to bring their own lunch; however, they are also welcome to purchase food and drinks from the Chisholm Institute café, conveniently located in the building next door.
During the day, students will have a 20-minute morning tea break and a 40-minute lunch break. As with all school excursions, supervision during these times remains the responsibility of accompanying school staff, in line with your school’s policies.
Frankston Tech School provides gender-neutral and accessible toilets to ensure all students, staff, and visitors feel comfortable and supported during their time with us. Our facilities are designed to be inclusive and accessible for everyone.
